Mumbai: Tata Motors has officially launched the Nexon EV Max Pro at a starting price of ₹7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), delivering a claimed WLTP range of 700 km on a single charge.
The sub-₹8 lakh price point - unprecedented for a long-range EV in India - has been made possible through Tata's indigenously developed solid-state battery and India-manufactured motor assemblies.

The vehicle supports 30-minute fast-charging to 80%, features vehicle-to-grid (V2G) export capability, and comes with a five-star Global NCAP safety rating.
AI-assisted lane-keeping, 360-degree cameras, and an OTA-upgradeable 15.6-inch infotainment screen are standard across all variants. Automatic parking mode is available on top trims.
Tata has received over 80,000 pre-bookings in the first 72 hours of availability. Deliveries start in October 2026, with production ramping to 15,000 units per month at the Pune plant.
